Back in 1932, during one of the toughest economic times in history, a motorcycle salesman named Roy Casbolt decided to create something of his own. With deep family roots in the world of bicycles dating back to the late 1800s, Roy turned challenges into opportunities and built a business.
From those humble beginnings in Christchurch, Casbolts has grown into one of New Zealand’s leading motorcycle dealerships. Over the decades, they’ve been part of the evolution of motorcycling itself, stocking iconic British and Italian brands throughout the mid-20th century. In 1962, they took on Honda, becoming New Zealand’s oldest Honda dealership.
They’ve also become the South Island’s sole authorised dealer for Ducati, bringing some of the world’s most exciting motorcycles to Kiwi riders.
