The Sunny Side Up Children’s Film festival held their first ever event in the July School Holidays. The event was held at the Historic Village in Central Tauranga. It was a massive success and we had 3 SOLD-OUT sessions. We have had so much support and tremendous feedback from some of the people that came. It was a great day, with 9 short, animated films, all having a great morale. We had a couple of breaks in-between the films and played some fun games for the children to be involved in; heads and tails with a prize of ‘ The whipped baker’ voucher and a Kiwi Kids News voucher. And a ‘guess how many lollies are in the jar’ to win the whole jar. Overall, 2022 was a great success and the 2023 SSU Children’s Film Festival is in the works….
